Want to learn the secrets of a milenar dance and indulge in the magic of the Egyptian Dance?

Sahar is a very friendly, pantient, generous and approachable teacher who will make your learning process fun, accessible, challenging and rewarding.
Sahar runs regular dance classes at her virtual School, Sahar Studio, for dancers of all backgrounds. She also offers private lessons online, which where possible, can also take place in a venue of your choice.
Dance courses
Courses are designed to boost your dance technique and skills or simply to offer you a wonderful opportunity to develop your knowledge in regards a specific topic. These are sequential classes that offer progressive learning from the start to the end of the course. There is always the possibility to visit the course, as for example, to take some classes on a 4 week course without booking the full course. Certain restrictions apply for course visits – please ask for more information here.
Sahar runs several courses, each with a different theme where there will always be something new to learn.

Regular classes
The classes are available as an online format which takes place at Sahar Studio - Egyptian Dance Academy, for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels for those looking to learn or evolve in Egyptian Dance.
These classes runs every week and the payments can bedone as a ‘pay as you go’ basis or monthly at a discounted price - you can always pick the method of payment that suites you best.
Each class is a standalone hour of dancing that is not, necessarily, sequentially linked to the previous or following week’s class.
Regular classes are a great oportunity to develop skills such as body awareness, motor coordination, balance, flexibility and musical interpretation. You will have acess to theoretical material about the dance origins, History and styles. You will have as well the chance to perform publicly and a certificate of attendance will be delievered in the end of the school year.
Attend the classes as frequently or infrequently as you like.

Private classes and one-to-one
Private Lessons are ideal for those looking to learn at their own pace and according to their schedule. Sahar will focus entirely on the goal of the student(s) whether it is to start dancing, to evolve in dance, to develop a specific skill or even to prepare for an event. You can have up to 2 people in the class for the same total price. For private classes with more than two students, additional fees apply.

One to one classes are all about you! - private tuition tailor made to suit you. Sahar will focus on your goals to get you to the next level. These classes are designed strictly to your needs. You will have an opportunity to learn at your own pace. Prior to the class you will discuss your requirements and expectations. We will then arrange the most suitable programme and run the class at your chosen time and venue.
T.A.P. - The Awaleem Project
The Awalim Project is a pioneer Educational Dance Project through Art, Oriental Mysticism, and its Spirituality. It is directed to Professional and Non-Professional Dancers who wish to embrace the Alchemical Craft and Magic of The Egyptian Dance.
It is a Soulful pedagogical “food” inspired by the Beautiful Awaleem Dancers of the Arab Egypt from the 19th Century.
The project aims to develop qualified Dancers with a good sense of Dance technique and Cultural background by gathering knowledges and skills from the main forms of Art (Theatre, Dance, Music, Literature and Painting – amongst others) as well from the Oriental Mysticism and its Spirituality, always so present within the Arab Culture, Mentality and Quotidien.
To attend this classes you must be at an intermidiate level.
